Fava Bean Hummus

Adopted from Whole Foods Recipes

  • 2 cups of fava beans
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon plus
  • 1 teaspoon tahini
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt

Place all ingredients in your food processor and blend. The fava beans add a terrific flavor and a nice change from more traditional white bean hummus recipes.
