Chocolate Chia Soft Serve

Ever have one of those moments when you think, “How on earth did I ever live without this?”

Get Ready…You are about to have one right now.

Ingredients and directions:

In vitamix, blender, or food processor blend together:

  • 1-2 frozen bananas
  • 1/3 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 tblsp chia seeds
  • 2 tblsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tblsp maple syrup

To make a fancy soft serve looking dish spoon mixture into a large plastic bag and cut corner off. Gently squeeze soft serve into dish and top with desired toppings. Pictured is Chocolate Chia Soft Serve with our Vanilla Almond Granola.

    Looks good!! Try cacao powder instead of cocoa powder next time. It’s a super food! and a the real deal. :) We have to eat crazy over here because half of us have Chronic Lyme Disease. Thanks for sharing!

      Thanks for checking out the website. Yes, cacao powder is amazing and it’s a staple in many of our meals including Chocolate Chia Seed Pudding, and various snacks and desserts. And you’re correct, it make a perfect substitute for cacao powder in this recipe. Hope you get chance to see the other recipes.

    I’ve been searching for your Vanilla Almond Granola and can’t find it. Is the recipe on this site?
    Really enjoying your site. I’m not vegan or even vegetarian, but do have diabetes. I’m looking for ways to incorporate more protein my diet without always falling back on meat! Your recipes sound delicious.
    Now if I can just convince my wife! :-)
